Crackle Quartz is created through processing of pure Quartz. The mineral is exposed to extremely high temperatures and then suddenly cooled. The small cracks produced in this way can be easily dyed or stained, and so commercial specimens come in many vibrant colors. The most famous crackle Quartz is dyed green or red and marketed under the name "Firestone."
What are the healing properties?
Activation of the crown and third eye chakras is said to occur in the presence of crackle Quartz. Using this stone as an amulet may ward off evil and negative energies and may help the possessor to remain positive. By clearing the mind, crackle Quartz might make optimism easier and allow you to be more pragmatic.
